Raven 07:22
Stepping lightly, screaming silently Breathing loudly, moving carefully Trying not to wake you up Night comes deadly, fear moves relentlessly Simply stunning, I'm dizzy, I'm running Somewhere I can feel safe I'm asking why we're here Don't we all just disappear? Could that be our legacy? Is it darkness that we fear? I tremble but I stand still, I have trouble telling what is real I'm struggling, fighting, I'm still here but I'm hiding Maybe I'm going insane Such a wild mind could never be tamed I'm asking why we're here Don't we all just disappear? Could that be our legacy? Is it darkness that we fear? I'm afraid I might not wake up this time At nightfall all my senses fail, I go blind

I’ve been to places never seen Where sky ain’t blue and grass ain’t green I know I said I was never coming down I asked you not to follow me Not every shade comes from a tree Bigger ships than this have run aground Suddenly the clouds had rearranged My memory came falling from its place Unexplainable new sights for happiness lay in disguise Stood in front of me for most the time Everchanging sounds and shapes Darker tones of brown and gray We waited for the sun, it never came Suddenly the clouds had rearranged My memory came falling from its place As our delusions disappear We welcome now a brand new year Our hidden garden blossoms in that space It didn’t take long to see that our beliefs were not enough This cross we bear for long was built for sins that are yet to come When stillness came to mind it showed no signs of backing off It’s up to us to find the will to thrive against all odds I’ve been to places never seen Where sky ain’t blue and grass ain’t green I asked you not to follow me Not every shade comes from a tree Suddenly the clouds had rearranged My memory came falling from its place As our delusions disappear We welcome now a brand new year Our hidden garden blossoms in that space

I never understood how loneliness had such a strong effect on us And even in the darkest of times, I learned to leave some things behind Some not so unique moments make it all worthwhile Humanity is known for trying to make beauty out of sorrow and pain Until we're on the other side of living, we have no clue of what remains inside a haunted mind, besides its chains In spite of slowly dying We'll live as stars tonight There ain’t no use in hiding What may be our only light Such a wrong time to be launched into stardom Why do we romanticize death? The rarest flower in a garden where sun has never shown its face Those spotlights you deserved, but not for that Reflecting our desires We blend into the night We’re invisible fire Burning bright out of sight

I walk by the door It reminds me we’ve been here before But it’s not quite the same And through my weary eyes I notice I don’t recognize A single tile on the floor I try to hold on The storm is gone but we still mourn As time does its dirty work Is it a new life? If memory still brings to light The best and worst, the rights and wrongs But I feel I’m finally getting there So many things have changed while I was coming up for air Now time has come to set us free It’s safe to say we’re better off like things were always meant to be Did I ever lie? My hands were always firmly tied As the fire spread across the room (around us all?) And for the first time I thought of swallowing my pride Embracing the fear and letting go But I feel I’m finally getting there So many things have changed while I was coming up for air Now time has come to set us free It’s safe to say we’re better off like things were always meant to be Blinding fear and drowning screams (Close your eyes) All translated in my dreams (Take your time) Wounded fingers drenched in blood (One last try) Always trying to stop the flood (Say goodbye) As the walls were crumbling down (Find your way) We stood there watching safe and sound (Feel the pain) Better things are yet to come (It will fade) Panic slowly comes undone (We’ll remain) I walk by the door I notice we’ve been here before Everything has changed But I feel I’m finally getting there So many things have changed while I was coming up for air Now time has come to set us free It’s safe to say we’re better off like things were always meant to be

Storm Ahead 07:16
Close your eyes, the tide will rise We’ll stand up as they go down Hear their joy as we cry Hear them laugh as we all die Numbed by fear, petrified I don’t know who walks by my side They stood still and ignored the warning signs They’ve made their choice There’s a storm ahead Still, we hold our heads up And our fight’s not dead For hope will lead us to the light We could love instead… Darkening skies, thunder roars Loaded guns, empty drawers Running through the firing line No one backs down from the fight There’s a storm ahead (raging clouds) Still, we hold our heads up (sky falls down) And our fight’s not dead (lightning strikes) For hope will lead us to the light ( save our lives) We could love instead…

I feel I'm finally getting there So many things have changed while I was coming up for air Now time has come to set us free It's safe to say we're better off, as things were always meant to be I feel I'm finally moving on In hindsight, it doesn't seem so wrong To break down and cry Forgiving what's never been said I've figured out I'm halfway to the light.
